Materials
Enoki Mushrooms | half a handful |
Garlic | 5 cloves |
Oyster Sauce | 0.5 tablespoon |
Light Soy Sauce | 1 tablespoon |
Water | 2 tablespoons |
Sesame Oil | to taste |
Salt | 1 gram |
Sugar | a pinch |
How To Make
-
Chop 5 cloves of garlic into minced garlic.
-
Add 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 0.5 tablespoon of oyster sauce, a pinch of salt and sugar, 2 tablespoons of water, and 0.5 tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix well and set aside.
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
-
Clean and drain half a handful of enoki mushrooms, then place them on aluminum foil. I used two layers of foil to create a pouch.
-
Drizzle the sauce over the mushrooms and sprinkle with barbecue seasoning. If unavailable, you can substitute with cumin powder or whole cumin.
-
This is the barbecue seasoning!
-
Place in the preheated oven and bake at 180°C (356°F) for 20 minutes. Flip the mushrooms halfway through and add more seasoning or chili powder if desired.
-
Done!!!! If you prefer a drier texture, you can bake at 200°C (392°F) throughout, but keep an eye on it since oven temperatures vary.
