Mushroom and Pork Soup
Materials
Green onions | 2 stalks |
Eggs | 1 to 2 |
Pork strips | To taste |
Mushrooms | Any other mushrooms will work |
Pickled mustard greens | 1 small bag |
How To Make
-
Wash the mushrooms and drain them.
-
Cut the pork into thin strips, using any amount you like.
-
Add some cold water to the pot.
-
Add pickled mustard greens to the pot.
-
Toss the pork strips with some cornstarch to coat evenly.
-
Add the mushrooms to the pot.
-
Wait until the water starts boiling.
-
Add the pork strips.
-
Beat the eggs until mixed and pour them into the pot, spreading them out as much as possible.
-
Add a small spoonful of salt (start with less if unsure, and adjust to taste).
-
Add a tiny amount of light soy sauce and a small spoonful of lard.
-
If you have green onions, add a small handful. I don't have chicken or MSG on hand, so it can be optional. Wait until the water boils, then turn off the heat and serve.
-
Serve yourself a small bowl first.
